This is fantastic cheese produced by traditional methods and from milk from 100% grass-fed cattle. The country of Iceland is renowned the quality of their dairy products. This is attributed to the superior quality grass on which the cattle feed. To witness the difference between grass-fed and grain-fed cheeses you’ll have to try it for yourself. The cave-aged cheddar is remarkable as is the brie (Baudolino). 4˝ Stars.
This is bread as bread was intended, made only from unbleached flour, with organically grown grains and baked in a wood-fired oven. The ingredients used and the baking environment of the ancient-style oven produce a crust, texture and flavor that is exceptional. Second only to “Ranch” flavor, pesto is probably the second most popular flavor found in American food today. As professional chefs we have probably tried hundreds. The best we have found until now is only available to the food service industry.
This is hands-down the best commercially available basil pesto we have tasted. It’s fresh, lively and very well balanced. No single ingredient outdoes the other. It has a great fresh and traditional handmade appearance. There are other flavors available which are all very good and all are made with superior quality ingredients, but the basic basil is just pure clean fun for your mouth!
